ALL ABOUT THE CENTRAL MASS SKI GROUP |
Buses, Gas Prices, Day Trips |
| The upcoming season promises to be an exciting one. The
well received trip schedule has been retained. We have revised our day trip
schedule to include areas closer to home in view of unstable fuel prices.
Skiing at Stowe in winter conditions proved to be a pleasant surprise last
winter on a cold day. Most of the area faces south and is well sheltered
from the wind. Stowe is an easy drive so we offered it as a u-drive trip.
New on this season's schedule is Killington trips , a old favorites, We have expanded our discounted lift ticket program to include Stowe. Prepaid vouchers are available to Cannon, Wildcat and Crotched. These are non-refundable once purchased. Killington, Sunday River, Stowe and Attitash continue to be picked up on the day of skiing as in past seasons. Day Bus Trips: Everyone asks about these but unfortunately not enough skiers sign-up. We plan to offer a day bus (Place & date to be announced). The response will determine if any other day bus trips are offered. Given the price of gas, the bus would seem to be a no-brainer. We need 40 skiers to cover the cost of the bus. In response to many requests we have included Saturday day trips. Membership in the Central Mass ski Group is open to everyone. For the 2007-2008 ski season the membership fee is $20 per mailing address. Singles and families pay the same low $20 fee. We will issue membership cards entitling members to many ski related discounts. |
